Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Med/Peds Practice
Join our growing and busy Med/Peds practice! We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality care to both pediatric and adult patients in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
Position Summary
The NP or PA will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and preventive care for patients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.

Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive physical assessments.

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.

Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic health conditions.

Provide preventive health services, screenings, immunizations, and wellness care.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures.

Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Current Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.

Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).

Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred; primary care, family medicine, pediatric, or internal medicine experience strongly preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers and staff.

Experience with Allscripts EMR is a plus.
