Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
• Answer and route incoming calls; respond to patient inquiries and provide general information.
• Collect and verify patient insurance information.
• Process payments and co-pays.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems (EHR).
• Liaise with medical staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying as needed.
• Ensure the waiting area is clean, welcoming, and properly stocked with materials.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a medical office setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
